The VA Clinic opened the doors of its new facility for tours and guest speakers on Wednesday, October 24th. Construction of new VA Clinic has drawn a tremendous amount of interest over the last year, and the crowd was standing-room-only as dignitaries delivered their remarks. Speakers included Congressman Hal Rogers, Lexington VA Medical Center Director Emma Metcalf, and lead architect on the project, Derek Phillips of Deco Architects. An important new project broke ground on July 20 in MedPark — Kentucky Farm Bureau’s first senior care facility. Bluegrass Senior Living will offer both Personal Care and Secure Memory Care. “It’s a great day for us,” Mark Haney, Kentucky Farm Bureau President, said. “If there’s any one thing that Kentucky Farm Bureau wants to do, it’s to be a corporate partner in every community that we serve.

Bluegrass Senior Living is expected to be completed in the Fall of 2019.

The park directories are nearing completion. Name panels are being installed that will point the way to 17 different businesses and medical practices in MedPark West. PLUS! Look in the background of this photo. The large numbers that make up half of the building signage for 25 MedPark Square also went up this week.

Welcome to MedPark West! Somerset Internal Medicine announces that Joseph Reed, PA-C and Miranda Lyons, PA-C have joined the medical team at the practice, and will be seeing patients on weekdays.

The construction sign for the new VA Somerset Clinic was installed yesterday. Thanks to KSD Kinetic Strategic Design, New Horizon Graphics and John Withers for a great job. Construction work is ramping up at the site and we will have progress photos to share in the next couple weeks.
